We are honored to welcome Judith Myers to our Board of Directors. Judith, or Judy as she is commonly called, comes to us with an abundance of legislative, non-profit and professional experience that will be of great asset to the Foundation.
Judith graduated from Lewis and Clark College in 1974 and went on to work in advertising for several large advertising firms and later as a market research consultant. She has a passion for non-profits and has spent the last seven years in Napa volunteering on many boards such as Progressive Women of Napa Valley, Planned Parenthood NorCal Board of Advocates, Napa Valley Community Housing and the COPE Family Center, most recently as Board President. She also served as President of the Napa Valley Country Club.
Myers was an elected councilwoman for the Town of Mamaroneck (NY) Board from 1999-2005 and elected as a Legislator for the Westchester County (NY) Board of Legislators where she served from 2005-2013 on a variety of committees including the county’s Board of Health.
Judy is excited to join the Foundation because it represents a chance to help further the awareness of and support for the Napa Medical Research Foundation and its mission in Napa and beyond. Her experience advocating for women and minorities has given her a strong sense of connection to the community and she hopes to further this connection through her work with the Foundation.
